This quarantine time has been difficult. Some days we spend way too much time together and its not all quality. We need to define time together and this really helps us feel close!

I feel like we have deeper understandings of our individual perspectives on life in general and how we approach things. Because it’s the card bringing it up, neither one of us has to feel the pressure of starting that conversation.

The flattery of our answers allowed us to feel comfortable enough to say some things—deep, previously unexplored things. Then suddenly there we were, without a trace of pretense, rolling through issues we had never, ever discussed before. I suppose we just needed an opening.
